What is Seining?......

The 6th grade went on their last field trip with SeaQuest today!

They went seining (with a large fishing net, kept hanging in the water with weights and floats) and caught silversides, revisited their knowledge of horseshoe crabs and went on a scavenger hunt after learning about various shells and other treasures you can find on the beach.


We will miss Audrey, the amazing guide who taught them about sea life and the marine ecosystem these past weeks!
